Sweet Jesus it's here. College football season in just two more short days............wow.
HUGE game for both squads....the Ducks have to replace quite a few players, so slight edge to Boise in this. But the Ducks have pretty good team speed, and they can put some big numbers up. Defense is questionable at best, so I like a high scoring shootout.
Let's give it to the Broncos, 45-38 in a great game to kick off college fb season.
That said, I am cheering for the Pac 10 in this game, of course.
What say you? What's the o/u on this one, anyway?

It is a hell of a game for opening night. With all the points, the darn thing will go into the wee hours of the morning on the East coast. Having said that, I love Oregon to win outright and certainly cover. I personally think Boise St. will run the table after this game, but I don't think they can hang for 60 with the Ducks.
I like Oregon 42-24
BTW, the O/U currently is at 64 and the BSU Broncos are -4 according to the book I just checked. I played the Ducks at +5 when I was in Vegas two weeks ago.

I like Oregon in this one, and for them to have a big year.

They're playing at Boise St. on the blue field that looks like water. Ducks like water.

Anyone see what LeGarrett Blount did at the end of the game? Totally classless and good thing there wasn't another Ron Artest situation.

I saw it Sro.. That was completely humiliating..I feel for Chip Kelly..the University of Oregon should be embarrassed and should suspend him for a while..I don't think a season long suspension would be harsh.. Anyway, Oregon's play tonight was humiliating enough..5 first downs, 150 yards of total offense? It's only one game, but it looks like Oregon was overestimated..

He would be done playing football for me if I was the coach. We don't need thugs like that.

Blount's pre game comment was embarassing enough, but the sucker punch deserves a permanent seat on the bench. If Chip Kelly wants to make a name for himself he needs to do the right thing here and suspend the thug for at least 6 games.
Congrats to Boise State tonight. Although I played Oregon and lost, I do enjoy seeing the Broncos do well.

Not condoning what he did 117%, but Blount was provoked. Chickenlove talk and shove by Hout to start it. Vince P
