Give it to the guy w/the big arm. I am a bit surprised, but by all accounts, Barkley looks like new money. Interesting season lies ahead for USC, methinks.

Are we really questioning Pete Carroll's ability to overcome massive losses? After Matt Leinart and Reggie Bush left USC after the 2005 season, the Trojans nearly made it to the BCS Title game again, but they lost to UCLA in their last regular season game. Year in and year out he recruits some of the best classes and gets them to play well EVERY year. They will be fine this year, even if they lose to Ohio State, I see them winning the Pac-10 and going to the Rose Bowl for the 6th time in the last 7 years.
