Don't use Ted Kennedy's death as a reason to hide from your problems. You screwed a woman who wasn't your wife and now you have to deal with. You are the one who put your family through "pure hell" and now you have to reap what you sew. Ted Kennedy isn't a reason to avoid questions, but I'm sure you'll go Alex Rodriguez on us and say the pressure of having to coach Louisville drove you to "need a release". Maybe you aren't the man we all think you are, and while you don't have to answer to us, you still have to answer to your wife, your family, and to the God you believe in. Good Luck trying to explain why you broke the sanctity of marriage to any of them because there is NO reason you can give that will get you off the hook.
And before anyone on this forum tells me I can't possibly know the details of why he cheated, I don't care to hear it. He wasn't, and still isn't, divorced from his wife at the time of the incident.
Look Rick, while I think she is just a gold digger and out for her own personal gain, that still doesn't make what you did any less acceptable. While I can understand why you want to dispel all the lies, that is not YOUR job. You are not a judge or jury, you are a basketball coach. Let the court do the talking for you if you are that supremely confident that you are telling the truth. Be quiet, and stop trying to make yourself the victim because none of this would have happened if you wouldn't have had sex with her in the first place.
