Sat, Sun stakes - SA, TAM, GP, OP, GG

Not too many morning lines here, so I may be riding the chalk the whole way this weekend...

Sat SA
R4: Snow Fall - No doubt that she's going to be a big favorite, but I can't see this race breaking any other way.
R8: Judy in Disguise - What a corker of a race her last was. Likes (I think) the turf, so she could be wiring this field.

Sat GG
R8: Zeewat - I initially had Manando on top, but I see now that he's actually the ML favorite. I don't like him enough to take a short-ish price, so we'll go with the old Baze-Hollendorfer trick and take Zeewat for a decent price, hopefully.

Sat GP
R8: Closing Range - Hoping for 5-1 or more on him. There's a lot of front-runners in this one, so I like his pressing style. I hope they all don't let Starformer walk on the lead though because that could be ugly!
R10: Lucky Chappy - Really hoping for a price here as I am going to be all over him. May be the bet of the weekend for me.

Sat TAM
R9: Tiz Sardonic Joe - If Lucky Chappy isn't the bet of the weekend, Tiz Sardonic Joe will be. I thought he ran a great race last out, but just got caught by a flyer he didn't see.

Sat OP
R9: Don't Tell Sophia - Here's hoping Tiz Miz Sue takes a ton of money, because Don't Tell Sophia ran lights out last time. I'm probably sitting on a 2/5 shot, but I like her a lot.

Sun GP
R10: All For Thee - Bet against Royal Delta off a layoff? Sure! Bet against Royal Delta and not take Grace Hall??? Errrr....sure? I need to have one super upset special this weekend and this is it! See if I can catch two monsters who may not be fully cranked. Hey, maybe I can get 10-1 on her!

Sun SA
R7: Belvin - I've already looked at this race back and forth a couple of times, and it's really a toss-up to me. Will Caballo Del Cielo stay? I'll bet against that. Will Treasury Bill be able to rally into what's probably going to be a very slow pace? I'll bet against that. Is War Academy the cat's meow? I'll go against that, but not so confident that he isn't.
The one that really scares me is Shakin It Up, who looks like a touch cookie. I actually might be flip-flopping with him (and kicking myself Sunday night like last week!). Courage of your conviction? Or being flexible with your choices? Decisions, decisions.
And, what to do about Mudflats? I'm thinking he's just flat, but we'll see.

Good luck all!
Stefan

So, I read that the trainer goes out of his way to start Tiz Miz Sue a month before he was expecting to...I feel ok with flip-flopping here if I can get even money or more on Tiz Miz Sue. Can't argue with the trainer when he's got a horse as good as her!

Ok, I'm going to start keeping track of this. Twice in three weeks, I flip-flopped and flopped out of the winner.
Last time, it was Falling Sky at $17.80. This time it's Don't Tell Sophia at $5.00.

Just a sign of how this weekend went for me...

Sat SA
R4: Snow Fall melted
R8: Judy in Disguise, my only friend... ...$12.00

GG
R8: Zeewat. Anyone get the license plate of the truck that took him out? He was mugged at the top of the stretch.

GP
R8: Closing Range...shot down...Starformer did get an early lead, and it was ugly (for me)
R10: Lucky Chappy...burning money!

TAM
R9: Tiz Sardonic Joe...burning even more money!!!

Sun GP
R10: All For Thee...ok, my other friend. She ran a great race considering! I've got her on my watch list, she'll be a good one!

Oh, I might as well count this too...I *didn't* flip-flop, and Belvin is still running, I think. :x
