Race 2: Definitely tossing the 7/5 Bonde dropper (a Bernardini gelding out of a Danzig mare that plummets to the basement). #4 Always Flirting (8/1) debuts here for underrated trainer Victor Trujillo and looks set off 7 no-gap drills. The son of Quick Action lures barn rider Alejandro Gomez to the saddle and the sire hits at a respectable 15% with his firsters. I expect this one to take significant action on the tote and stride into the winners circle.

Race 3: Toss out the effort by #6 We Can Be Heroes (8/1) last out when favored versus most of these on October 28. He encountered trouble soon after the break and called it a day. Top trainer Sherman adds the shades (23% with this move), put 2 works into the gelding and with Carr aboard, we'll get value on the board.

Race 5: Without a doubt, Steve Miyadi is the HOTTEST trainer on the grounds these days (won with 6-for-his-last-14 in the past 2 weeks) and he produces a first off-the-claim contender in #8 The Tour Director (12/1) in an EXTREMELY wide-open race. Interesting to note on this one that Miyadi himself plunked down $6,250 for this honest ridgeling. 4th in his last two starts (both won by See Zo Go), he will get ample pace to run at here and should offer a spirited stretch kick at good odds.
