I guess this is horse racing news, it is to me. Aliante Station Casino, in November, will no longer be a Station Casino. They are going back independant.
I told the race book mgr 'congratulations' and he said 'Uhhh...well, yes..... I guess'. They aren't doing Derby future books, at least this year.

The gambling industry has been doing a slow but steady improvement this year - I'm glad my contributions helped them along.

After Stations came out of bankruptcy, they no longer owned Alliante as it was taken over by the lenders. However they hired Stations to continue to manage it. Are you saying Stations is no longer managing it after next month? I thought it was a strange agreement because Stations was surely directing players to the casinos they owned in full.

Yes, that's what I'm saying. I was using my Rewards Card (all Station Casinos) when I bet, he said it wouldn't be good at Aliante on Nov 1st.
The Racebook manager actually said "we are going back independent". Should be some news about that somewhere on the web.

I lived in Aliante till 2008 and left right before the grand opening of Aliante Station Hotel & Casino. I thought
it was a strange place for a casino/hotel with small demographics of Aliante community. No wonder it went
belly up and Stations had to file for bankruptcy.
