It doesn't matter if he wins or if he loses, I will still love him, granted it is much better if he wins.lol

I am sure I will have a great time. I love watching on tv, so I can imagine how much I will love seeing them all in person.
I just wish I could get my husband or daughter to love it as much as I do. I get so excited when my horse wins and have no one to tell that really gives a darn.

When you get excited, you can tell all of us on the DMFF.

They both humor me by watching sometimes, but they have no idea who they are watching. They didn't understand my heartbreak when I Want Revenge(my derby pick since he was 2)scratched from the Kenyucky Derby. My grandson, who is almost 2 and my parrot enjoy it more. lol
Sorry I am rambling.

If your horse wins, DON'T go up and cash the ticket yourself. Send your husband up to do it.

That should do the trick.

Teri,

Have a great time and I wish you the best of luck with Tiago.

Did you know that Tiago has like a half brother named Giacomo, who was, unquestionably, one of the greatest horses to ever look through a bridle?

Also, can I recommend a fine dining establishment near Del Mar for you?

Del Mar, CA. 5 star rating. 7/23/2009. You cannot go wrong with In-n-Out. ..... a good ol' In-N-Out Burger. I love this one because it's near the beach

You can go there and chow down, and afterwards take your daughter and hubby to LegoLand. When you get to In ‘N Out, tell them you know Vince P.

my parrot(let) also loves horseracing - the dogs and family could care less but the freakin parrotlet goes nuts, she doesn't like jerry bailey though... am serously considering trading those who could care less in for more parrots, not kidding... a scarlet macaw who enjoys racing would be the BOMB ....

Terri, if you're a wussy gambler like me and just like to have a couple of dollars on a horse for fun, you can use the betting machines. They're easy to figure out and its a LOT less embarrassing than going to a live teller and saying "Two dollars to show on the favorite, please."
