Re: Converting thoroughbreds to the show ringThere are several organizations in California that rescure T-Breds from the tracks. www.neighsavers.com is where I got my latest horse, Lords Table. Dominc Fama arranged the placement to Neighsavers and I had to have him since he keyed a lot of Pick 4's for me. Karin at Neigh Savers has rescued quite a few horses from Los Al. This is our second rescued T-Bred, our first one passed away the Monday after the Derby. Most are available for adoption for around $500 which is tax deductable and doesn't even cover their costs. He is still a very fast son of a gun.

Looks like he's getting the idea of the being-ridden-doesn't-necessarily-mean-racing thing. I hate it when I don't forward chain letter and I die the next day!
