OK. I thought that a negative show pool meant that all horses in the money paid $2.10 to show. I noticed in the recent Zenyatta stakes race that the show horse paid $5.20.
What am I not understanding here?

Remedial PariMutuel 101OK. I thought that a negative show pool meant that all horses in the money paid $2.10 to show. I noticed in the recent Zenyatta stakes race that the show horse paid $5.20.
What am I not understanding here? "The bill approved in Congress to avert the so-called fiscal cliff would bring the first major tax increase on high earners in 20 years."
