I am so glad DMTC management decided to go from 6 day weeks to 5 day weeks. Imagine the cards if they hadn't. As long as the racing on the weekends are good, I don't mind the claiming filled weekday cards as much.

Maybe in the long run we woulda been better off without all the simulcast racing and just kept the revenues to our home state?

Certainly the lesser tracks would not have succeeded without the California churn, without or without slots, imho.

still handle a ton of moeny...

Weak racing? You're not going to get HUGE prices, but these maiden events with first-time starters are free money when you play the experienced starter.
