I've had Dish Network for almost 10 years and I've never had it go out except for when solar flares interrupt the signal.

The great thing about satellite TV is that the signal comes directly from the satellite (duh!) and does not have to go go through a processing site like cable does. No physical cable lines or power lines (except for electricity) bringing it to your house that can get damaged or severed. No lines to power poles or running underground. Just beams in directly from the satellite in the sky to your house (cabin/lodge/boat/RV, et al).

Ron Ellis is always a good addition to TVG and not too shabby of a handicapper

Your right he is a good 'capper !! I was surprised by that, and I like him on air also. As far as Matt C, maybe its his deliver that just grates on my nerves so much. And i agree that Rich P, is one of the best cappers on TVG and is under used !

Why does TVG think that it's a good idea to obscure the fractional times in the races from Ellis?

Little things, guys. Get 'em right.

11th at the Spa today...what happened? 5 1/2 furlongs would have taken you 1:20 of airtime, tops. I don't need a replay, just show the race, finish talking about the DMR P6, then post the prices 10 minutes later. Fine by me.

I love TVG, I really do. But sometimes they make me scratch my head.

Getting waterboarded has got to be less painful than listening to the sarge butcher the english language 3 hours a day.I have no idea how someone soooo unknowledgable of the game found employment at a horse racing network........

Props to Frank Miramahdi for hitting the Suffolk P4 for $297 yesterday, but somebody needs to explain to Rich Perloff (or whomever the co-anchor was) that when you win $297 on a $60 ticket, that's almost a 4-1 return, not 5-1.

I've met the Sarge and I can say that he has more horse racing knowledge in his pinky finger than you do in your entire body..there's a reason he is on TVG, and the manager of Southern Equine..he knows how to pick out the horses..
