Where in God's Holy Name are the Ferndale Entries?

Postby Vince P » Tue Aug 11, 2009 4:00 pm

Forget Zenyatta. Forget Rachel Alexandra. Forget Giacomo and all the other great 21st century horses. I want a copy of the opening day entries for a REAL racetrack, Ferndale, for this Thursday and I can't find them nowheres.

I've googled, I've tweetered, I've contacted BRIS, I've contacted the DRF, I've gone to the library, I've done all sorts of legal research and still cannot find them up anywheres.

So, the first person in here who posts the entries (or even a simple link) to the beautiful Humboldt County Fair in Ferndale, CA, will receive from me, an unlimited betting voucher for Del Mar or Saratoga, depending on what state you live in.

Mary,
I beg of you, please call all your connections and see if you can find these missing entries.

Hi Vince,
Ferndale doesn't open until Friday. Entries will be taken on Wednesday morning. Ferndale decided to open on Friday instead of Thursday this year. Ellis Davis, the chart caller for Equibase, will be sending out Friday's entries on Wednesday afternoon.

Thanx RahRah,

Since they first opened up in 1717, they've always started on this Thursday so I assumed it would be the same.

Now I see what Beckron meant by "it's a sign." Initially I thought she meant that I shouldn't ride or gamble on the horses anymore.
