The Bernardini offspring are doing well.

Tonight's #173 is a colt out of Lovely Regina, a half sister to Bernardini (by Deputy Minister), by A.P. Indy (Bernardini's sire.)

Found out from this one's pedigree page that Ile de France is also Bernardini's half sister. She was the filly in the "On the Muscle" documentary that got claustrophobia from the starting gate. (If you haven't seen this show, I recommend it. It follows several of Richard Mandella's horses, including The Tin Man and Pleasantly Perfect, through their training and races.)

I wanted to look at the auction last night but as soon as I got the site running last night on my computer, the cable internet went out for the night. Wah! Will try again tonight.
