Was she the one who was an analyst for ESPN's Breakfast at Churchill Downs and Breakfast at Pimlico and was involved as well on the afternoon's Triple Crown and other big horse racing events coverage as well? By the way these are current not past. Just saying.

You wouldn't happen to be from Lake Wobegon, would you?

Bethenny I believe actually did the Oaks telecast on Bravo (where she has been in The Real Housewives of New York City as the lone unmarried for two seasons). She first gained recognition four years ago when she was the runner-up in the one season of Martha Stewart's version of The Apprentice, and NBC probably should have given her a tryout following that once that ended. She's both Bobby Frankel's daughter and John Parisella's stepdaughter.

Bethenny Frankel

Thanks Mary:

As noted, I saw her first when she was on Martha Stewart's version of The Apprentice. She actually was not very well liked on that show. She later broke up a very serious boyfriend she was with after he was fired in 2008 for appearences he filmed the preceeding fall (with Bethenny) on The Real Housewives of New York City during that show's first season (he subsequently sued his former firm for $55 million). She was back last season (though I didn't see that season) and should begin filming the third season shortly.

I'm surprised NBC doesn't consider using her more on their horse racing telecasts given she probably would bring audiences with her from "The Real Housewives" along with those who still remember her from Martha's version of The Apprentice.
