Wait, Utah is home to both the Jazz and Dixie Downs?

Does this man recieve a paycheck for that dribble of a race call?? He mostly just calls one horse and at the end of each race he says WOW. As a younger horseplayer this makes dixie downs look bad and is quite laughable. Tom Battaglia you are off the hot seat until those kentucky winters.

That's good. But will Turfway Park announcer Mike Battaglia get a pardon as well?

Come now, worst announcer ever, using most overrated to determine has to be Tom Durkin. Adding fake enthusiam to stretch run and false importance to race are enough to make pine me for the good old days of Keeneland. His obvious tilt toward certain horses and jocks is sicking. ie. I wanna have Jerrry Bailey's love child. This years Kentuckey Derby should have been example enough.

Plus, he broke the unwritten (?) rule and called numbers during the race. It looks like. ;)
Thank God for the Federal Reserve. You can't have big government or big wars without them.

I think Frank Mirmandi is the worst. Despite his impressions am still not convinced that he knows.

Whoever subbed for Durkin at Toga today for a couple of races has to be one of the worst ever.

Anyone know what happened to Durkin?

Chef/ Horse Owner Bobby Flay called at least one today at Saratoga (8th)...For a guy who has never called a race he was great. Just off that one call he was better than MB at Turfway. At least he jokingly threw in a few food/drink mentions into the race and actually called the close finish.........Something which MB can't even do with 20 years experience, he would have thrown out :finishing togettttheeeerrrrrrr.

My goof...I had no idea it was a guest announcer. For a chef he did well, much better than I could ever do.
