Why do you get excited. Because it falls on your birthday???

Is this race held at Santa Anita every year or do they rotate it? Vince P
Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea. Avatar: My cuzin Isaac Murphy - a jock I'm tying to emulate in character and winning percentage - almost 47% lifetime.

It's the only day of the year at AP that John Dooley doesn't have to contend with the piped in fake crowd noise and the fake sound of horses hooves when he calls the races down the stretch..
$1 Pick 3: Giant Oak - ALL - Gio Ponti..

Nice post Delyatta....Your west coast biased is getting pretty obvious. Now your slamming our beloved Arlington Million and the host track. I think DM just raised the price off Coors Light to 9.25 for 16 oz. Did you have anything to do with that ? Million day @ Arlington we can get a frosty 28 oz commerative cup of Old Style for 3.75.

No way - he did finish. His horse won. If he fell off before the wire, why did they need to disqualify him? I know people who had the pick-4 before the dq. I thought he was dead when I watched it, that may have been the scariest thing I've seen.

Emarald Tom is right. Storming Home jumped suddenly to his right and interfered with the other horse (whose name escapes me) just before the wire. Storming Home crossed the wire as the winner with Stevens still holding on; it was after the wire that Stevens fell off Storming Home.

I had 100.00 to win on Storming Home. Brutal DQ..ouch.....I think it was Rene' Douglas who filed the objection.I dont think it came from the stewards . If the Arlington turf comes up firm, I 'll probaly knock Mr. Sidney down to 3rd and move PP up to 2nd on my ticket.
