At least I've thought that all year. I may be late to the game, but I now think Racel is the best fillie or mare I've ever seen and could rank among the all-time great thoroughbreds, irregardless of sex. Look, I've had my misgivings about Asmussen and Jess Jackson, but this turns everything upside down. "Z" is spectacular but could not match up to the versatility and sheer one-of-a-kindness of Rachel. Will keep fingers crossed for a dirt showdown, with some track putting up a gigantic purse to get both to run. BTW, are the old owners kicking themselves? Up to 10 million 'aint bad, bud wouldn't the Sheik's be offering 2-3 times that amount now to have THE SUPER HORSE!?
