From the 4th race at Monmouth -- Two horses involved, both all right though one has some lacerations. One jockey (Channing Hill) is in the jock's room and OK, the other (Jiminez, an apprentice) is going to the hospital.

Do you have any info about the earlier spill? How many horses involved? Injuries to horses or jockeys'?

Anyone else think the track is bad there today??

They should scratch Rachel imo..no need to run her on a messy racetrack..

5th at Monmouth -- Tale of Victory looked like a breakdown, unfortunately, and the jockey (Cotto) was thrown.

Scary stuff.

Edited to add: Tale of Victory put down, Cotto going to hospital.

How many ambulances do they have at the track. They might have to wait for a while until they get more ambulances, I don't think you can run a race with no ambulance there. I think they should consider canceling with jocks getting hurt in 2 races in a row plus injuring the horses

I think in the fourth race, the 3,7,8 DNF and the 5 was the one with the cuts, but all were okay horse wise and of course Jiminez to the hospital. No chart yet.
