I'm wondering how she would have done today. I didn't notice if the track was playing fair or favoring the frontrunners. i hope Bob B can help me out on that.
Did seem to be a lot of traffic jams, with the huge fields

Impossible to say with certainty how she would have done with the travel, heat and racing at night. Horses did get there from the back though on the Tapeta. In the UAE Derby, Musir came from Zenyatta-land to win. Raihana and Mendip both came from mid-pack to hit the board. In the Mile, Calming Influence won just off the early leader, but the second Green Coast got his placing from the back of the pack and third Skysurfers came from mid-pack. In the World Cup, Gloria led all the way but the 2nd Lizard's Desire came from the back of mid-pack as did the 4th Gio Ponti. 3rd place Allybar was more prominent stalking the leaders. Zenyatta beat Gio by a length and Twice Over by 2 1/4 lengths in the BC Classic. Gloria beat Gio by 1 1/4 and Twice Over by about 3 lengths. Gitano Hernando ran into some trouble during the race and the true closer Crowded House never made up much ground. You don't know the trip Z would have got, but based on the form of the 2 she beat in the Classic, you would have to think she would have been right there at the finish. Not a stone cold lock to walk over the field, but she lost nothing in ratings based on how the two she conquered ran in the World Cup.

Thanks Bob, I thought with her lack of early foot and the large field she might have been up against it. Not to mention all the travelling..
I never did hear what the temperature was, just many people mentioning the heat.
With my Super-Duper Power Ratings that are known to be much superior to Andy Beyers figures, I predicted that if Zenyatta shipped and ran with that field, she would have won by a half length, with ears pr icked, and Smith's whip turned down..
I also figured Smith to be waving to the crowd in the last 800 yards while simultaneously wiping the sweat off his brow and raising his helmet to the heavens..
