Great news! Although I'm shocked at the high number. Was sure it would be much lower. I guess the combo of women wearing next to nothing, lots of alcohol & great weather will overcome a crappy economy everytime. ;)

What is the $$$ wagered per person though? And does anyone have figures for alcohol sales? Hehehehehe.

AG...I thought I saw handle was down 5%, but I can't find where I read that. So I could be wrong.

If the handle went down 5% that means on track average wager for the day was around 8.00 per race....
