Horse Society MagAnybody know if this company is still in business? I subscribed for a year in December and have only received two issues. I never recieved the May/June copy they show online and I guess they never published a July/August version. Nobody responds when I call for a refund.
Re: Horse Society Mageva green,
forget aboot horse society magazine because the HorsePlayer Mag http://www.horseplayerdaily.com/ is a much more entertaining publication in my opinion. vince p. has been a loyal follower since he was old enough to read which was about 15 years ago or thereabouts and ranks them right up there with sports illustrated, juggs and highlights magazines for crissakes.
Re: Horse Society MagI like Horseplayer, but they have problems with their dstribution. I always get the magazine a couple of weeks after whatever they are promoting on their front cover (i.e. a Derby issue in mid-May). But at least they send them, unlike HSM. HSM wasn't worth the subscription anyway, as it turned out to be a glorified Post Time USA with a bunch of useless photos. Not sure what they were trying to accomplish, but I'd like to get what I paid for or my money back.
Re: Horse Society Mag
Their web site is still active at http://www.horsesocietymagazine.com/ and shows a May/June cover on the home page I hate it when I don't forward chain letter and I die the next day!
Re: Horse Society MagThe website may be active, but there is no July/August issue that they listed on the site. They don't answer calls or E-mails about subscriptions, so they've probably gone belly up. I know a couple of buyers for companies that advertised and they told me their ads were run for free. Not a very good model for paying the printer.
Re: Horse Society Mag
That's because a glorified Post Time USA with no photos of Gene Stevens is actually a poor man's Post Time USA.
