Pretend me and Alyssa and Tony and Pamela were flying from San Fran Loving Cisco to Oaklawn Park, what airport would I fly into and how far is it from Oaklawn Park?
Should I bring my nüvi 757
Are there any In 'N Outs near Oaklawn Park?

Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea.

You fly into Little Rock and then the drive to Hot Springs is about 40 minutes. You will NOT need a GPS and if you find an In 'N Out anywhere in the Natural State I'll be on the first bird to meet you there.
there might be a shuttle outta memphis now because think some texas airline went under???
VINCE P if you go, can you please get your picture taken with Spotsgone - mebbe Fires will even give you a mount on the undercard???
Crazykid, are you going to Oaklawn for the weekend? LIRM is going to be there so you could settle all those bottle of whiskey bets you guys made over the years. Let me know if you are going we will be there.
Be careful if you ask about an in n out in Arkansas, Vince. I can't imagine where you might end up if you flew into LIttle Rock and tried to drive to Hot Springs. I'm thinking of the banjo music from Deliverance. I have to agree with CK regarding the 40 minutes. I don't see how you can make that drive in 40 minutes. It might take you 40 minutes to drive the last 3 miles depending on when you're arriving at the track. That town is going to be a zoo and while I haven't been there in many years, I don't know how they are going to handle the crowds.

I will be driving up from Dallas for the event(s), I have a place to stay up there and will stay for the Ark Derby.
Last time I was there Valhol won the Derby at 30-1 - sure, he was DQ's, but NOT before tickets were cashed!
I think Smarty Jones has made the place into a Springtime happening.
The banjo-playing scene wouldn't be as bad as the 'love scene'....
