I don't think she meant it that way. Zenyatta loves the attention she gets at the track, and once she goes to the farm, she's going to have to adjust to not having it. I've heard Personal Ensign was quite the diva when she left the track and went to the broodmare herd.
I would love to see Zenyatta do something like dressage training -- she would pick it up quickly, and she's quite the ham, she would love performing. It's kind of sad that she's just going to go make babies when she's still young enough to do other things. (Not that I don't think she'll be an excellent, lovey mom and would have some really nice foals.)
I quite agree with the racing days being over -- I enjoyed the heck out of the last two years, but it's best she goes out on top of the racing world. But if I were writing her fictional story ("The Black Mare" LOL), I would say that she goes on to win an Olympic gold medal for the U.S. equestrian team.
