I say send it to the FBI, let's go all the way.
Thanks for trying Mary, but I think this is a lost cause. He doesn't get that the digital wire is added AFTER the race. If I took a marker and a ruler and drew a line on the photo it would be the same thing as a digital wire.
of course I understand it is added after....if you read the posts ..mary says it is unimportant ,quite the contrary it is the deciding factor...thus why have a photo...are you guys that dense ...watch all the photos in future races the winner of that photo is touching the mythical digital line ....in this case even the head investigator couldn't tell who won ....I am not the lone wolf here, also when the steward called he insinuated that I was not alone in my query, that others in racing had expressed the same thought....is that mythical enough for you or too detailed or is it too invisibly digital?
When Dondogs posted the larger picture it was obvious that the #1 horse had won by a nostril. So then the question must be is who is the dense one here . . . . . . oh tenacious one?
Nureyev . . . . my Twinkle Toes

you know what is amazing how quickly you guys just think that this game is totaly honest, many years ago when I pointed out that ted west, was using something everyone said exactly the same thing....but he is tenacious....seems ted got caght withw hat 20 positives and promptly retired and handed the reigns over to his son...not that this is on the scale of this but the o0nly part of the picture that is BLURRY is the crucial part explain why every other part of the picture is pefectly sharp...then I will let it go...also the fact that jorge periban had the 97 winner and this one ..well I don't know just coincidence I guess....but if nothing else I have the courage of my convictions ...I don't slander and I don't insult I just present the facts as I see them ....maybe done the road I will start informing others of the nuances of the sport like filling races etc
Realizing no one will ever convince dmj of anything, I nonetheless went back and took another look at the photo on the Hollywood Park site -- http://hollywoodpark.com/images/812.jpg . I downloaded it and blew it W-A-Y up with PhotoShop. Looks like the #1's nose is definitely on the "wire," and visibly (although slightly) ahead of the #4.
