Four wins today for Junior Alvarado, three (3) for Bill Mott trainees. The Alvarado/Mott combo is fast becoming an automatic bet.
Junior's last win was a $29 horse for K Breen in the feature which carried-over the P6.
Do you ever give an extra + when you see a big-league millionaire trainer decide to bring out horses for five races, using his go-to jockey, on a sleepy Wednesday? Especially the flashy ones, like Baffert, etc. Maybe not Saratoga or Del Mar, but the long meets.
was looking at BEL results last nite and thought RATS what a great day shoulda woulda called in sick, hindsite always so clear.. rain forecast most the weekend for NY, afraid the weekend races will be off the turf, not sure about KEE forecast, guess will just have to play warm and sunny Charity Park
This raises a great question.
What is the proper protocol for calling in sick?
I believe in my 27 + or - years on this planet I've called in sick 7 times and I really wasn't sick on any of those 7 days, but just wanted to go to the track and pretended I had a headache that day.
The funny thing is that when Vince is really sick I come to work because it makes no sense to me to stay home and do nothing because I'm sick.
Does that make sense?
Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea.

According to the Gallop Poll, 99.9% of working Americans feel the same way – what degenerate horseplayer wants to stay home when sick and squint at pps and listen to TVG – pure hell! But if you’re feeling well and need a mental health day, the protocol according to HR under HIPAA is an employee doesn’t have to come up with a story, just need to verbally notify your immediate supervisor of an unplanned absence – and you have to actually speak to someone, no voice mails or emails. In Real Life, you call your closest coworker and start out with a “have been in the bathroom since 5:00 a.m. “ and they’ll cut you off midsentence with a uh see-you-tomorrow – Good Luck To All!
