He's not on this morning.

He just said he did NOT bet it..

Not suprising he didnt play it but doesnt make what he did any less impressive. Well, maybe alittle less.
I doubt any of the on-air TVG tickets are actually played by the hosts.
There are so many TVG-tards out there that play those tickets blind, the payoffs would make it an even more EV- bet than it already is..
Just heard that Rich P didn't bet it. That's too bad.
Nevertheless, excellent handicapping by Mr. Perloff!
Sorry there was no payoff.
With that being said, coming on air to admit you didn't bet the ticket demonstrates the high caliber of class and integrity Mr. Perloff has in this world. Rich is a Grade 1 classic winner in my book.
rich perlof may be a really nice guy and a good handicapper, but anyone who gets to pick every race every day is going to have some good days. a couple of years ago i was watching the races and he said something that made me think, well made me know that he doesnt know much about horse racing. he said i just found out today that race horses are always walked and ponied from the left side of the horse. he went on to say i never knew that. the 1st day you walk into a barn and get your very 1st job at as a hot walker the 1st thing they tell you is ALWAYS STAY ON THE LEFT side of the horse ALWAYS, next thing they tell you is dont let the horse step on your feet and the 3rd thing they tell you is never ever look the horse in the eye. those are the 3 things they teach you before they let you walk a horse for the 1st time in your life. just seems to me that someone who is on tv talking about horseracing should know the very 1st thing there is to know about a race horse.
the reasons why Rich didn't have it is very simple their pockets aren't as deep as their picks...like the most of us unlimited resources lead to making a good deal more hits...usually its bankroll and money management that does a lot us in........
Or he really did hit and doesn't want the TVG employees asking for short term loans...
Rich is a great guy and great 'capper...he knows his pedigrees and uses other angles as well. Haven't seen him up close and personal in several years but he usually gives us Chatters a shout out when he's on the air, especially if we have one of our own running.
