In an article explaining why Dodger Stadium is unlikely landing spot for NFL as long as McCourt has option to buy back land if another sports team goes there, the article concludes "The NFL... (will) likely breathe new life into old concepts (Hello, Hollywood Park)."
I'm not eager to see BHP go away, and really don't care if LA gets an NFL team (would prefer we didn't -- better TV games this way) but I've always felt if BHP had to close, and NFL had to be in LA, the Hpk property was the best place (good frewway access, plenty of parking, less likely to get unbearably hot in Sept. and Oct).
In fact, if they tear down the Forum (has that been renovated? there was some talk of that) the BHP land could probably accomodate both a football stadium and a racetrack and the Casino building. Maybe Maybe?
