Book 3 Condition book is for races ending this weekend June 16th. Only track I have ever seen that would not have Book 4 out yet. This is more than anything telling of how screwed up that place is. roaches in the bathroom are one thing, but only having a racing calendar going out 4 days in advance is another. How is a trainer or owner supposed to plan like this? I have never seen a racing office operate like that.

Things is California will get better with the increase in take-out, which leads to purse increases, which leads to more owners entering races that will increase field size.
Remember that baloney they told us?
Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea.

They told us we needed to be more cooperative and they mentioned "shared sacrifice" to us. What they really meant was Bend Over for the Big Potato and shut up and bet darnit.
Not trying to be argumentative, but what does this have to do with the demise of Hollywood Park?
Fan forums are enjoyable. They are not life or death.
Only that Inglewood will be losing a revenue base.
How much revenue was gained when Bay Meadows was bulldozed, then sat as a vacant field for 5 years. (That was going to be developed until the Economy slowed)
You can take the man away from the racetrack, but you can not take the racetrack out of the man.
