Belmont review--Ramon D and his agent have done quite a job of getting very live stock for him to ride, turf or dirt.He gets his share of brilliant race riding in ,also.Aqueduct will be more of the same,i am guessing.Inner tube may see a change,though..good luck
Re: Belmont review--Considering I think Ramon rides Belmont the worst of the three NYRA tracks, this meet was outstanding for him. He took two out of town trips during the meet as well, which is rare for him.
There's absolutely no way he'd lose the inner track meet, but I hear he might be heading for sunnier skies this winter. NT
Re: Belmont review--Ramon's Riding Conquest of the Belmont Fall Meet was nothing less than spectaular. I mean when you factor in that he does not ride 1st Call for Pletcher, then it really gives you an idea of Dominguez's riding talents. Also to Ramon's credit he goes about his craft rather quietly.
But if you look at his performances like sweeping the last 4 Stakes races on the NY Showcase Card this past Saturday, well that was quite a riding feat, as I think only 1 of the last 4 winners was the odds on Fav. I've said it before & I'll say it again, Imho, Dominguez offers the best value per mount than any jockey riding today. Unfortunately now that the betting crowd sees the evidence of his riding skills the prices will definitely be on the decrease.
Re: Belmont review--Does that mean that there is now more INFORMED money on Dominguez?
Or since it is the herd effect....is it now more UN-informed money on Dominguez that will bring the prices down? You can take the man away from the racetrack, but you can not take the racetrack out of the man.

Re: Belmont review--last year i caught a huge price on him ,WHEN he picked up a late mount due to another jocks injury at gate--beware and may the luck of the Irish be with you...
