Woodstock tickets, even genuine ones, not worth that much (single day tickets maybe $40), but the newspaper, Middltown Times Herald Record) is very cool, probably very few (if any) others in existence. Front headline "200,000 cram site; medical crisis arises" and interior articles like "Editor Romm, at scene, calls it a disaster" and "Friday Fete: Freedom, pot skinny dippng" are mixed with articles about the Warwick Student Committee for Better Education meeting and similar events. Ads show where you can get a dozen clams on the halfshell for 90 cents or see I Am Curious (yellow).
I actually recorded on a small casette recorder many of the acts frpom AC, still have them but sound pretty poor. Also recorded some shows at Electric Factory in Phila like Janis Joplin in 1968 and the Who in 1969 doing complete Tommy album (This was a club about the size of The Roxy in LA).
Have a lot of nice rock items like complete set 60's Avalon (SF) concert handbills and postcards, several signed Rick Griffin Fillmore concert posters, Elvis signed sheet music, John Lennon signed contract, Springsteen hand written lyrics from 1971 or so, etc.
Of course, nothing to do with horse racing. To keep it on topic I do have Hollywood Gold Cup program 7/22/1939 won by Kayak II and has a race called The Seabiscuit with a $1500 purse. Interesting in that Biscuit came back the next year, so could have won a race named after himself.
