Orb Florida Derby, Revolutuonary Louisiana Derby and Lines of Battle UAE Derby
Just looking at the winners may not be the road to riches.
Orb and Revolutionary are both legit. Both likely to be in the top 5 betting choices for the Derby. Orb was probably more impressive as he was just toying with those horses. Has anyone heard what beyer figs they both recieved?

I was more impressed with Revolutionary's race than Orb's. He beat a bigger field and he fought for it in the stretch. He seems to be maturing. No doubt both will be monsters on Derby day .Nice to see Shug back in the Derby. Boy this is fun to watch.
Orb looked super impressive to me. Did it with ease.
Revolutionary looked good as well, but I feel had things handed to him when Hip Four Sixtynine and Titletown Five went after each other for the first 6f then melted down. Also, people talk about Palace Malice getting a bad trip, what about Sunbean? He was moving really well at the rail then got the door slammed in his face at the top of the stretch. It'll be interesting to see where he lands next out.
Revolutionary reminds me of Gemologist from 2012.
tie between orb and the uae derby winner. dont ever ever discount adian obrien, a matter of when not if obrien wins the kentucky derby.
Thanks for the beyer numbers Fredo. Was about what I expected for Orb. I get a kick out of all these people saying oh Dreaming of Julia ran 2 seconds faster. Orb isnt a speed horse what did you want Johnny V to do go all out with him and win by 10 instead of 3? It was the way he did it with ease. He can run all day and if verrazano bombs in the wood Orb will be favored in the derby and no lower than 3rd choice no matter what happens. Doesnt matter to me cause im already down at 70-1 for a small play and a heavy one at 18-1.
Orb to me is by far the most likely horse in the Derby to hit the board. With the bets you have if you get a decent draw and make it to the gate you will have a big shot. The fact he did not run that fast over the weekend might be a blessing in disguise. Looks like he bounced a little from his prior effort and still got it done. The more tiring Churchill surface should really move him up also.
Yea, im hoping for post 5 through 14 for the Derby. I dont know if he bounced as he won that race as easy as could be. Dont you think the slow early pace is the main reason that the final time came back alittle light. Johnny V will have a major decision of who to ride in the Derby if Verranzo wins this coming weekend.
