Jerry Crawford, Donegal Racing president, announced that Hall of Fame jockey Gary Stevens will ride multiple grade I winner Dullahan in the $10 million Dubai World Cup (UAE-I) March 30 at Meydan Racecourse. "We are thrilled to have a rider of Gary's caliber," Crawford said in a statement released March 13. "Gary is a great communicator who will work closely with us to make sure Dullahan gets the kind of ride that will make him a winner in Dubai.

"Of even greater significance is the fact that Donegal and Stevens are working on an agreement to make Gary the rider on all of Donegal's horses for the remainder of 2013 and beyond," Crawford added.

It's funny, I was talking to Dale the other day and he told me they purposely made Dullahan break slow and rush up immediately in his prep which is contrary to his normal style of running. This was done in order to increase his odds at the end of the month.
