thats not surprising to me.
2yo class depth is never really that great of an indicator of what the next year's 3yo crop will be.
I remember thinking that street sense beat a very average group of 2yos in the 2006 b cup juvenile.
the next spring we witnessed one of the best crops of 3yos in the history of Noth American racing-Street Sense, Curlin, Any Given Saturday, Hard Spun, Rags to Riches, etc....
The class of this years 3 yr old crop?Who said they have class?One of the signs of class is good paced races,WHICH THERE HAVE BEEN ALMOST NONE! There are 2 or 3 very good horses,the rest are mediocre at best.
