Mr. Super Bowl
If it is bet, they will take it.
Re: STAND BY. BREAKING NEWS.Degenerationx, who made you the price police? Define excessive (and stubble, ha!) I saw a $6k yearling once go for $750k at a 2yo sale. Isn't that a markup? How come nobody complains about that? LRF sold Tebowing, a $10,000 yearling for $70,000. But she just broke her maiden in her second start at the MCL $75,000 level.
LRF markups are high, low...they are all over the place. I don't care about anything except my price. If its too high, or if I don't like the horse, I just say no thank you. Let's be honest here, Billy isn't the one setting the price. I AM. I AM THE BUYER PAYING HIS PRICES. If I or the other investors didn't buy, he would be forced to lower them, wouldn't he? So he must be doing something right. I tried to buy a horse from him recently and it was sold out after one day. These 10 or so investors are not contractually obligated to buy LRF's horses. They wanted to. They understand there are other partnerships and other ways to own a horse. They choose LRF. And being an LRF client, I completely understand why. Billy and his partner Gary run a nice little company.

http://www.littleredfeather.com/news/view/56 Wonder if any of these partners are still in the game?
Re: STAND BY. BREAKING NEWS.Thanks Pete, I laughed for 5 minutes straight on that one!
Re: STAND BY. BREAKING NEWS.Actually, Petemo, sadly Belo Purse was my first LRF horse. Not the best investment. I met Billy that summer. I know the 11 other partners in the partnership fairly well. I'm pretty sure at least 6 are still very active LRF partners. That news article is funny. I guess that plan got scrapped pretty early on because I was one of the first share holders and I bought in late August 2008. There was no mention of the Pacific Classic.
Re: STAND BY. BREAKING NEWS.And Petemo..
http://littleredfeather.com/news/view/61 You got me curious, so I just checked the LRF site. Your post is misleading since just a few weeks later LRF posted another news item that said a start in the Pac Classic was unlikely. Did you not see this one?
