If Dirt Makes A Comeback

Postby Lurker » Fri Oct 16, 2009 4:02 pm

IF dirt ever makes a comeback in SoCal, all will be well with the world again except for one thing......

JHC it's REALLY going to get nauseating listening to and reading all the experts say.....

I told ya so!

All they had to do was ask me!

Worst decision CHRB ever made, I told everybody it was wrong.

I tried to tell anybody that would listen to me it was wrong.

I'm no engineer, but I coulda told you that experiment was going to fail.

What a bunch of stupid idiots, they had no clue.

Would they listen to me, noooooooo, now look at the mess they're in.

I wrote it in my blog that it was a bad decision, did anybody care?

In the old forum archives you'll find where I said exactly this was gonna happen.

99% of the votes were against the change, why'd they do it in the first place?

Those poor horses that had to pay the ultimate price, who voted for them?

The entire breeding industry is hurt by this little experiment, it may never recover.

I'm on record, Jan 17th I said it wouldn't work, I was the first to say it would fail.

I told ya so!

Maybe we can collect them all in one thread?
And remember...Things work out best when you make the best of the way things work out.

We should all make an effort to conserve dirt - it's been out of production for eons.

What would Hall of Fame Trainers Charlie Whittingham and Woody Stephens think about synthetic tracks, milkshakes, Clenbuterol positives, and all the
other crap that's going around in todays' racing environment. They were used to only training thoroughbreds on hay and water. They would be rolling
in their graves.

Has anyone ever felt 117% about something one way and then changed their mind and felt 117% about it the other way?

I did.

Ahhh, ten million here, ten million there ... California is financially stable (it is, right?) so it doesn't matter.

Bring on safe dirt.
Thank God for the Federal Reserve. You can't have big government or big wars without them.
