I'll take Speak Logistics in the race. If you watch the replay of the Sam F Davis, I am convinced that he would have won the race if Serpa didn't try to go through a hole that wasn't there. He blew the break, made that move that appeared to be a winning one and stayed on. Now he goes to Rosario, which to me is a gigantic upgrade, and I think if anyone can get this horse to rate, it is Rosario.
Lets hope we get all of that 12/1 ML on this.

Sam Davis was weak ,weak, race.Logistics isnt logical in this spot.Race will come down to Orb,Violence, and the Motion runner. Tghe one thing you can say about Violence(and i dont think too highly of him) is that he looks to be a grinder in the style of AP Indy,or Silver Charm. Those 2 didnt set the world on fire with their blazing speed, they just grinded out win after win.Im not putting Violence in that class, its just maybe the grinding style threw people off of his true ability.Still dont like.

I know - horses can't read! He is eligible to improve, but so are most of the others.
He was fast enough today! Violence did well for being off for 60 days. The goal is always the Derby, but his jockey better sharpen-up, he got "out-rode" today.

I like to rip jockeys just as much as anyone, probably more than most but what could Javier of done differently to hold off the beast that is ORB?

Not chase those ridiculous fractions? 23.11, 45.45, 1:08.85
The amazing thing is Violence stayed within a long neck of Orb after that.

He ran good but Orb seems like hes improving at the right time.

There was no doubt Orb could get the distance. Looked good.

Nice hit Proro. I was surprised Violence hung on as long as he did. if he doesn't rate he's a toss in the big dance.

Heard from someone this morning Violence did not come out of the race in good order and could be retired. I am 99.99% sure this information is correct.
