Re: Black Caviar ...What a horse! The 6 year old mare did it effortlessly in track record time!!! She's a super racehorse!!!!!
Re: Black Caviar ...What a horse!Love these superhorses that just keep on racing. They breed a different species of t-breds in OZ, real tough and all heart.
She's my hero. Love you, Nelly. "And Afleet Alex just ran right by Giacomo like he was standing still!"

They do, I know. But not at that level. And undefeated. She just came back from a long, long layoff. It was very iffy that she'd ever race again. Here, they would have whisked her off to the breeding shed. Connections said "bit and pieces were falling off her". She tore muscles in her back in her race at Ascot. To come back from that and then set a course record in her first race... "And Afleet Alex just ran right by Giacomo like he was standing still!"

2nd from right in the gate. Effortless. Lots of credit to her handlers, what a job they did, bringing her back from an 8-month lay-off. "And Afleet Alex just ran right by Giacomo like he was standing still!"

Thanks for posting this--I missed the race last night. I used to be indecisive; now, I'm not so sure.
