Nice Hit Part III - Serious Survey to Newcomers

(sorry to create another thread on this)

I did a survey. I showed the above article to about 20 friends, co-workers and relatives and after they read it, I asked them if they would consider attending the races and making a few wagers.

Guess how many said, "Sure, I'd love to become a racing fan."

Pete, et al, you do the same and let me know how many potential new racing fans you convert.

For the record, personally I have no problem with what Peter Miller did because as Claimbox and Andy C mentioned - this has been happening since the Darley Arabian broke his maiden and many of us degenerates are aware and wager accordingly/take advantage of these situations.

My point is that love like this sends a horrible message to any newcomers and to even some current participants in the racing game. Just wait until the NY Times gets a hold of this story. Imo, Brad Free shouldn't have even published this article in the first place, but it was very interesting and I enjoyed it.

Now show the article to your friends, co-workers, relatives and tell me how many are excited about becoming new racing fans and contributing to handle.

Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea.
