Ergo, you will never lose a bet on it. Thank God for the Federal Reserve. You can't have big government or big wars without them.
Re: El Camino DerbyDice Flavor is not an early nominee to the Triple Crown series. His owners have until March 23 to decide if they want to pay the late nomination fee of $6,000 to make Dice Flavor eligible.
Gallagher, who didn't make it to Golden Gate Fields because he was running a fever, said he will meet with Dice Flavor's owners to discuss the horse's next start. http://www.bloodhorse.com/horse-racing/ ... real-derby

Re: El Camino Derby
I don't bet. Ever. Possibly during the BC, but usually not. I was born without the wagering gene. I do follow odds & betting. And sire/offspring trends. Certain sires I pay close attention to when their offspring are running. Dice Flavor is a Scat Daddy colt and his grandsire is Galileo. Doesn't get any better than that for performance on the track. All the pp's, jockey, trainer, who's in the field, who beat who last time out, are only part of the picture for "can he win". Sire standings/stats play a hefty role. OK, yes, I bet on Street Sense in the Derby & BC. His trainer & his jockey combination was huge, but the icing on the cake was that he was by Street Cry. Can't get any better than Street Cry in the mix. "And Afleet Alex just ran right by Giacomo like he was standing still!"
