I'm roughly a 10-minute drive away from Hollywood Park and go their often during their LIVE meet (I go to DM/SA/LA a combined 2-3 times a year for LIVE racing). A lot of people diss Hollywood (for reasons I'll never understand), but nothing beats the experience of a day of racing at the track of the Lakes, Flowers, Grace the Goose Girl, Naomi the Bartender and Fat Tony.

When the wrecking ball eventually levels my local track. I won't be attending LIVE racing at ANY venue - it will be 100% ADW at that point.

Naomi tends bar in that center bar with all the TV monitors above in the Players Club during the simulcast meet.

Did anyone used to know George the bartender? I heard from a woman bartender at Whittingham's, maybe Naomi, that he retired last year or the year before.
