Here's a weird question: Say you bought every P6 race on a ticket, and in an early leg you were the only winner in that race, so you've got it. Then there is a late scratch in the last leg, and you automatically get the fav, which you already have, and the fav wins. So... there's now two winners. So you wouldn't get the full amount? Would they really be that chicken-poop about it?

[quote="Andymays"They are panicking over the current state of the Ca. P6.[/quote]

It doesn't surprise me that people are panicking. That's SOP for CA racing.

Increasing the take-out by 3% and adding several horizontal bets, some with significantly lower rates is it a wonder that P-6 betting is declining? I personally have not played it for even a nickel since the day they raised the rates.

That's a great question. It isn't addressed in their rules.

Find the jockey on the favorite and offer him/her $100K not to win.

Or I could get Fredo and Vince to go make him an offer....

Even though the entire pool is payed out if there is only 1 winning ticket is now a better time to play this pick 6? It payed over 4400 today with only one real longshot.

To believe that you would have to believe that the size of the pool somehow negates the 52% take-out.

Is there any other wager in all of gambling that has a 52 percent takeout? This wager is akin to a shell game.

OK, Im just trying to understand this alittle better. So you are saying that todays 4400 plus payout for 10 cents would have been the same payout as if there was no carryover at all?
