Exactly; I don't think it would be worth the money to enlarge the track to only 7/8ths of mile with no turf course. That just sounds like Fairplex, good for about three weeks a year.

Reddam lives in Sunset Beach/Surfside which is 9 miles away (as the crow flies) from Los Alamitos Race Track. It's too bad he doesn't invest there and re-fit the track the RIGHT way for T-bread racing.

George wouldn't even stop to talk to me as he was handing out free next day admission coupons to pad the attendance numbers.

Hollywood Park is so big that Cash Call could move their entire headquarters there. They cold have loan sharks roaming the parking lot and casino.....they could even finance Korean massage's across the street and eight balls on the corner of Prairie!

I also hear Cash Call and Little Red Feather are working on a promotion where Cash Call will loan you $20,000 so you can buy a horse from Little Red Feather that's worth $5,000 if you promise to pay them back $100,000

I believe that at one time Reddam was considering the deal but from what I hear that may not be true now.

But then again maybe they’re not at liberty to discuss ongoing negotiations. Hmmmmm

If you think about it, what place would be better to move the Cash Call headquarters than a Race Track and Casino? They would be lined up by the hundreds to borrow money by the fifth race. LOL
