Re: Blue Grass StakesBluegrass day tickets are sold out the same day they go on sale prior to the Spring meet. Enjoy hanging out with the rail birds.
Re: Blue Grass StakesThanks for the info. Not worth the 4 hour drive imho.
Re: Blue Grass StakesEverything I read about Keeneland is that it's one of the most beautiful tracks around.
Re: Blue Grass StakesIt's worth the trip, but the crowds are ridiculous. Be ready to buy reserved seats when they go on sale and you might get lucky.

Re: Blue Grass StakesI would still make the trip to Keeneland and catch the races during the week. It's still busy just not Bluegrass Day crazy (think pacific classic day) and it'll allow you a better shot to really appreciate the track/atmosphere. Head over to Malone's steakhouse after the races for some decent food and watch some of the local jockeys get hammered.
Re: Blue Grass StakesThanks guys. I live less than 25 miles from SA and go less and less as I get older. As you know I use to attend quite a bit. Driving 4 hours and being elbows to azzes doesn't appeal to me for any sporting event. I will heed to your suggestion and go during the week sometime and take in the local experience.Probably the same for CD. I love Ky.
