Hopefully he can get back to those same barns he was in before trekking down south.

Big mistake. Takes a longer commitment than what he's put forth. Espinosa was 3 for 100. Rosario was 8% when I got him. This is Yankee Stadium. Gotta ride the bench a long time before starting in center field. However if you're good enough it can be done. He's good enough. Big Mistake IMO.

I agree he has the skills for sure. I heard from my trainer up at GG that Juan came down to So Cal with his agent from up north. If thats the case I dont think that gave him his best shot. He should have stayed around at least through Fall HP this year. In my opinion he is just outside the Top 5 in So Cal., but I think with some wins and the better horses he would get from winning he could crack into that group.

Totally Agree! So many of these guys kill their careers through just being impatient. Unless you are already a big name, and even then, you have to pay some dues when you go to a new track. I have heard jocks say they are out of money and can't continue to wait. My response is always, "Then you shouldn't have moved in the first place. You should have waited until you had enough in the bank to cover a few lean months."

I know some really talented riders that can't get a mount anymore because they have a reputation for being "Here one day and gone the next"
Trainers want riders who they can count on, not one that may jump ship and disappear at any time.

I think it's a mistake IMO. I think he has a ton of potential to make it here and of course you gotta work your way from the bottom to the top. That's how you pay your dues here in CA.
