Ultimate Eagle will skip the Grade 2 San Antonio on Sunday at Santa Anita and ship to Florida next week to run in the Grade 1 Donn Handicap on Feb. 9.
Owner B.J. Wright and trainer Mike Pender made the decision Tuesday evening to skip the $150,000 San Antonio and run for a $500,000 purse in the Donn.

Can't argue with running in a race with $350,000 more purse money.
