same with the dogs, if you hear one bark twice then you know he isnt hungary for rabbit.

I'm pretty sure you mean hungry, not the country Hungary.

You slay me, Kid.

I do not doubt Eskendereya's ability, I think he was a brilliantly talented horse..

HOWEVER, I am very afraid of his families lack of soundness, which will likely be passed on..

Eskendereya is by Giant's Causeway out of Aldebaran Light who was a very modest filly 3 wins in 5 starts $18K in earnings
She has had 10 foals, of which just 4 have made the races, Eskendereya who was 4 - 6, Balmont, who did race 18 times with 4 wins 3 seconds and 3 thirds, Wear Red who was 1-4 and Quinte West, who was 0-9..None of the other 6 foals have made the races...

Aldebaran Light is out of Altair, who was unraced. Of Altair's eight foals, Blazonry and Hippocrates ran eight times, Aldebaran Light and Alsafi ran 5 times, Lady Lyra raced four times, and the other three foals did not make the races...

Altair is out of Stellar Odyssey who was unraced as well... She was purchased and shipped to Japan after producing Altair, but as best as I can tell, only one of her seven foals made the races over there.

I don't doubt Eskendereya's foal will be talented, I do highly question about their longevity with the fragility in his family...

in summer 2011 i was at taylor made farms and watched unbridled song, forestry, and eskendraya bred some mares, i also got to take a close look at the other stallions they stand there. by far and away eskandreya was the most impressive. all of thye people who worked there think he will be a star. even the guys who brought in mares that day to breed to unbridled song and forestry were saying wow!! we will definately be breeding some mares to him next year. he was a man among boys and that's saying a lot considering the other stallions they stand there. i had no pre conceived notion and i actually never even saw him run.
but the taylors were just giddy about him,
