Today the pick 5 paid better then the pick 6 on investment

Postby Igeteven » Sat Jan 26, 2013 6:09 pm

To scale it down, the Pick 5 paid better then the Pick 6 on investment dollars.

One could have won with less money on the Pick 5, then the Pick 6 with fewer dollars and less takeout.

Any comments.

How do you figure that?

Using round numbers, the pick 5 returned $7500 for a .50 investment, the pick 6 returned $40000 for a $2 investment

Both wagers are hard to hit, but the pick 6 returned $32500 more than the pick 5 and it is only 1 leg longer.

What are we missing?

You are correct, I thought the pick 5 paid 14 grand.

I retract this, LT is correct.

Sorry people.

Twinspries reported at a 1 dollar payout, not fifty cents.

If you read Lester's on hadnicapping you would know to put in the 12-1 and 8-1 shots so using this as a road map each bet was equally easy to hit.

Dr DX

thanks, I will never leave them out of pick 5, as to the pick 6, it all depends on your bankroll

One can afford them in a pick 5, however, pick 6, I leave them to file a response on this

At Santa Anita there was one winning ticket, purchased for $96.00. With the 20 % percent bonus of $7,995.04 on top of the $39,975.20 mutuel payoff, the total hit is $47,970.24.

Andy

How he got that long shot in with a 96 dollar ticket, I would like to hear that.
