I didn't see anything unusual at the Derby or any of the local restaurants horsemen and players frequent on the evening of the 17th.
That was my husband John Shear's birthday, and I think he would have heard about this, as all the jockeys and trainers were "tweeting" him Happy Birthday, and dozens of people were speaking to John all day last Thursday.
I don't believe this was true.

Our son posted Happy Birthday to his dad on Twitter, that's when all the jockeys and trainers, owners and fans all posted on Twitter. John doesn't "tweet". LOL

this whole thread could have just been easier to read if the original poster had just said the truth....he got knocked out of the Pick 5 and wanted to blame someone else but him/herself
