Thanks for sharing Mary. So cool. He was a really nice horse. Rare day indeed to win a Championship without running in the BC but Declan did it.

This is great to see the Thoroughbreds represented at an Expo. Our annual affair is lucky to see any TB's at all. I've forgotten which one but one of the race channels did a short mention of Declans training for this event. Any one know who the other 3 horses are?

If you click the link about the 30-day progress report, you'll see info about the others as well.

Correct. It's tough and rare but can be done. I thought she was deserving the year she won HOY.

I am very surprised with this answer from you Vic. Zenyatta won the BC classic against good horse not the worst group of three year olds in history along with an allowance field at Toga.

Absolute nonsense.

Check your form - I can send you a copy if you'd like.

Rachel beat glorified 12,5 claiming horses and Starter types, NOT Allowance horses, in each of her races as a 3YO. One of her wins was even in a maiden claimer if I recall.

Zenyatta's Classic win was against 11 different Horses of the Year, Three European World Champions inc Frankel I believe, and four future Classic Winners.

Double check your stats.

Imo, anyone who thinks Rachel was a pretty good horse is either a hater, a racist, a lunatic or simply doesn't know a thing about horse racing.
