GP carryover

Postby Kermit » Sun Jan 13, 2013 6:53 pm

$242,525 Pick 6 Jackpot carryover.
That's getting close to Andy C's "it might be worth it" threshold.

How hard could it be, it's a 10¢ bet forcryingoutloud!
Thank God for the Federal Reserve. You can't have big government or big wars without them.

couple of years ago i was in reno and gulfstream had a big carryover on a .10 cent pick 6, i bet like $20.00 on it
some guys setting behind me pooled a couple of hundred dollars between them and hit for $20k. they showed me thier ticket.
it had 1 single and one race with two horses and like 12 horses in the other 4 races. thier single and race with two horses were early on so they pretty much knew they had it after the 3rd leg. if i recall in the last
4 legs they had all but 3 horses

Don't you have to be the "only" winning ticket to get the jackpot?

Perhaps it was closing day. As speaking of that. Now that GP is considering running year-round, hence no closing day I guess. Can you imagine how huge that bet could potentially get? STACKS of cash!!

Must be something like that. GP list "6 of 6" and a low payout, then list the big carryover for the next day. So I guess you get a dime's worth if you're not the only one...?
